A dash of Paris

This post varies a little in content, I know. Its dedicated to the extraordinary colours to be found around us. last week I visited Premiere Vision in Paris. For those of you who are wondering what it is, its a fabric, color, forecasting and all things from concept to reality in fashion. Trend forecasting for years ahead, and if you love fabric as I do 7 hours wondering through touching the most extraordinary fabric go's very fast. While they are very strick on no pictures inside I found some very exciting colours on the street I particularly love the blue doar as this shade of blue is very important this spring.

Red lipstick, Old Coats and Cobble Stones..

I just ended up wearing this outfit. The colour pallet I know it hurts to look at, but I'm loving the elements of it. The coat I picked up the other day in Rokit Vintage in Covent Garden, The draped item I'm wearing under it is part of a jersey collection I have been working on, a few more pieces and the collection will be for sale, I will show case more pieces soon...

OOooh 2011!

Deciding where to spend New Years Eve in London can be a daunting task, knowing that some of the most extraordinary fireworks will be taking place

But since I stood for 6 hours outside in the freezing cold last year waiting for the fireworks I took the more luxurious option this year..

While it is tempting to wander the amazing closed streets of the west end..

A new years gathering at  Roland Emmerich's amazing home in Knightsbridge was a bit more appealing this year..

Some of my favourite pieces from around his home

I am wearing a rather odd outfit for the eve I know.... My great grandmothers beaver collar, ripped jeans, suspenders and a Zara argil sweater.

But some of the other guests were much more appropriately dressed for such a lavish gathering. The darling beauty in the red heels being my personal fave of the night..

My other favourite of the night the Prada A/W 10/11 collection turquoise court shoes worn by one of the guests. I was in such awww of the shoes I forgot to get a pic but I did find a great rundown on them on SHOWstudio check it out on the following link

The fairies are in the fog

It was magical outside today as if the world was awakening from a long illness. The beautiful fogy weather inspired me to go for a bit of a practical outfit,in keeping with the lovely forest I explored today.. I am wearing my mother's trench coat from the 60's, an old camera bag I think it belonged to my grandfather, H&M Organic cotton shirt, Zara jeans & Scarf. Hope you enjoy it.. xx
